Remember this is a day for you to remember, a day where your memories will be recorded on film and will be cherished for many years to come.

Booking your time

Make your appointment for a time when you / your family feel most relaxed yet energetic.  If you have small children, make sure they’re fed, or after their nap before coming for your photo session. A happy baby is easier to entertain!

Clothing

Take time to look through your wardrobe before deciding what to wear.  For outdoor shots, vibrant colours can look great against the natural backdrops.  Bring 1-2 additional changes of clothes to change into and to make the most out of your time.  Accessories can also make a big difference to getting alternative and interesting images. Accessories could be hats, scarves, coats, wellies, jewelry etc, or indeed bring along a hobby item of yours e.g. bicycle, music etc.
For family shots, co-ordinating your clothing so that the colours blend well is always a good idea.  If you’re not sure, simply lay the clothes out in front of you and see if they work well together.

Location

This is your day, so why not suggest a place that you like and feel relaxed in.  If nothing springs to mind, don’t worry, we can discuss and come up with some options to choose from.

This is just a placeholder version of the site while all the complicated stuff is taken care of in the background. Over the next few days, you might notice a lot of changes and test going on here but, by next weekend, you’ll be able to view the entire finished site.

Not only will the site tell you a little about who I am and what sort of jobs I’m available for, it will also allow you to view samples of my photography work so you can see the sort of things that I do and the ways that I do them!

So, if you can be patient for one more week (I know it’s tough; I’m excited too) I’ll have loads of stuff to show you very soon.
